SONNY SIROIS

I am a 41 year old retired Air Force Veteran and father of 4 kids.  After serving 21+ years all over the world, I decided to retire in my home state of Maine.  I've had a lot of life experiences and am educated just enough to not be dangerous - BAS in Applied Science, AA in Human Resources, and a ton of military training.  I was a single parent for many years and learned a lot from it, and have recently become a grandfather - Grampie Sonny!  I'm a fan of DIY projects, healthy/simple living, nutrition, cooking, personal finances, good literature, science, and brilliant people - I spend many hours on the internet or library researching these subjects, because I'm a nerd like that...  I always prefer simple solutions (the KISS philosophy).  I'm looking forward to making positive contributions on HubPages, and also benefiting from what others are sharing.  I love learning!
